Chicken popcorn is a beloved snack that appeals to people of all ages. These bite-sized pieces of chicken, coated in a crunchy, flavorful crust, are often deep-fried for maximum crispiness. However, if you're looking for a healthier alternative that doesn't sacrifice taste or texture, you're in the right place. In this video, we'll guide you through a delicious baked chicken popcorn recipe that's both easy to make and guilt-free.

Ingredients:

For the chicken:

1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast or chicken tenders
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the coating:

1 cup of cornflakes
Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil.

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, similar in size to traditional popcorn chicken. This allows for even cooking and a satisfying bite.

In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.

Add the chicken pieces to the yogurt marinade, making sure each piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) to allow the flavors to meld and the chicken to tenderize.

In another bowl, mix together the cornflakes with spice powders. This will be the coating for your chicken popcorn.

Remove the chicken from the marinade, roll each piece in the cornflakes mixture until evenly coated. Place the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
