These delightful treats combine the classic goodness of freshly baked cookies with a hidden surprise of sweet, oozing caramel at the center. Ingredients:

230 gms unsalted butter, softened
130gms granulated sugar
130 packed brown sugar
1 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
350gms all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup caramel

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. An electric mixer works best for this step, but you can also use a sturdy spoon.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Then, stir in the pure vanilla extract to give the dough a delectable aroma.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a smooth cookie dough forms.

Now comes the fun part! Take about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten it in the palm of your hand. Place a piece of caramel in the center and wrap the dough around it, rolling it into a ball.
