If you're looking for a unique dessert to impress your guests, then look no further than a fruit pizza. This delicious fruit pizza combines the sweetness of fresh fruit with the creaminess of a smooth, buttery crust. Whether you're serving it at a party or simply indulging on a lazy afternoon, a fruit pizza is a perfect choice for any occasion.
Ingredients to make Fruit Pizza
1 and 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
113gms of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
For the topping:
200gms of cream cheese softened
1 cup of sugar
Butter - 2 tbsp
Vanilla Essence
Fresh fruits of your choice (such as kiwi, strawberries, grapes, and pomegranates)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, butter, sugar, and baking powder, Mix the ingredients together until a soft dough forms.
Roll the dough out onto the prepared baking sheet, using a rolling pin. Make sure to spread the dough evenly to create a thin crust.
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
While the crust is baking, prepare the topping. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix the ingredients together until they are well blended.
Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool down to room temperature.
Once the crust has cooled down, spread the cream cheese mixture on top of it, using a spatula. Make sure to spread it out evenly to cover the entire surface of the crust.
Cut the fresh fruits into thin slices and arrange them on top of the cream cheese mixture. You can use any fruits of your choice, but we recommend using a variety of colorful fruits to make the pizza look more visually appealing.
Chill the fruit pizza in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
