Peanut butter cookies. 

Ingredients:

115g (1/2 cup) Unsalted Butter, softened

100g  Icing Sugar

115g (3/4 cup) Creamy Peanut Butter

160g (1 cup + 5 tbsp) All-purpose Flour

100g Chopped Peanuts

Instructions:

Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). Line a baking sheet.

Cream the butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, icing sugar, and creamy peanut butter until light and fluffy.

Incorporate flour:  add the flour to the creamed mixture, mixing until well combined and a dough forms.

Roll out the dough: Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough .

Add chopped peanuts: Sprinkle the chopped peanuts evenly over the dough, then gently press them into the surface using a rolling pin.

Cut out cookies: Using a round cookie cutter, cut out cookies from the dough and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.

Cool: Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Achieve crisp texture: When it's hot, the cookies will initially be soft. Allow them to cool for an additional 20 minutes to achieve a crisp texture.

Store: Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
