INGREDIENTS
160ml (2/3 cup) of lukewarm milk
160ml (2/3 cup) of lukewarm water
15g of sugar
8g of dry yeast
420g (3 1/3 cups) of flour
5g of salt
20ml of olive oil

METHOD

1. In a bowl, pour warm milk and water, dry yeast, and sugar which will help the leavening.
2. Dissolve the yeast well or use fresh yeast if you prefer.
3. Add the flour and salt and start kneading vigorously by hand.
4. Now add the oil and continue kneading until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
5. Cover it with a cloth or cling film and let it rest until it doubles in size. It will take about 2 hours.
6. Once risen, cut the dough into 6 parts, forming balls.
7. Cover them again with a cloth to rest for another 10 minutes.
8. Work the dough with a rolling pin to obtain a thin disc about 20cm wide.
9. Cook them in a very hot non-stick pan flipping them over often, and let both sides brown without burning them.
10. When the bread starts to puff up it means it's ready!
11. Pile them up and brush them with butter and parsley.
