Ingredients:
Preparing the Dough:
All-purpose Flour / Maida ( sieved ) - 2 ½ cups / 300 gms
Rice Flour - ½ tbsp
Semolina / Rava / Sooji ( fine ) - ½ tbsp
Ghee / Clarified Butter - 2 tbsp ( slightly heated )
Salt - ¼ tsp
Water - ½ cup / 120 ml
Preparing the Filling:
Desiccated Coconut - 250 gms / 2½ cups ( lightly roasted )
Cashew Nuts - 100 gms / slightly less than 2/3 cup ( coarsely ground )
Amaranth / Rajgira seeds - 100 gms (slightly roasted ) ( optional )
( if Rajgira seeds are not available, crush Rajgira Ladoos & use them )
Sugar powder - 150 gms / ½ cup + 1 tbsp
Cardamom / Elaichi powder - ½ tsp
Raisins / Kismis - 100 gms ( finely cut )
Sesame seeds - 50 gms ( lightly roasted )
Cooking Oil for deep frying
