CLASSIC CHOCOLATE MUFFINS RECIPE
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour (240g)
1/2 cup cocoa powder (50g)
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup sugar (200g)
1/2 cup vegetable oil (120ml)
1/2 cup milk (120ml)
3/4 cup sour cream (170g)
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips

NUTRITIONAL INFO (per muffin):
490 calories, fat 25g, carb 62g, protein 7.3g

Preparation:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Prepare a standard muffin tin by lining it with paper or silicone liners.

In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir well to ensure even distribution.

In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients, whisk until the the mixture is smooth.

Gently pour the dry ingredient mixture into the bowl of wet ingredients. Stir the two mixtures together until just combined. Be cautious not to overmix; a few lumps are perfectly fine.

Carefully fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips into the muffin batter. Ensure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Using a spoon or an ice cream scoop, fill each muffin liner with the batter until they are almost full. This will give your muffins a lovely rise.

Place the muffin tin into the preheated oven and bake at 350°F (180°C) for approximately 25 minutes.

Once baked, remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes. This helps them set before transferring.

After 5 minutes, transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve your delectable chocolate muffins and enjoy! They are perfect for breakfast or as a delightful snack.
