Bazlama - Turkish bread recipe
INGREDIENTS:

- 250 ml. Milk
- 200 ml. Water
- 1 teaspoon of dry yeast
- 1 bunch of green onions
- Half a bunch of dill, half a bunch of coriander
- 400 gr. cottage cheese
- 500 gr. flour
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 50 gr. butter

PREPARATION:

Add 1 teaspoon of dry yeast to 250 ml of warm milk, mix well and keep aside.
Then we chop the green onions, coriander and dill and put them in the bowl where we will knead the dough.
Add 400 grams of cottage cheese (we do not add salt if the cottage cheese is salty), 500 grams of flour, salt and pepper and mix well.
Make a well in the middle of the mixture and add our fermented milk, one egg and 200 ml of water and knead a medium soft dough that sticks to your hands.
Without waiting, we divide the dough into logs.
We can make the number and size of our logs according to the size of our pan.
Let the logs rest for 10 minutes.
We heat our pan on the stove. We open our logs 5-6 mm thick. Then cook on medium heat until browned on both sides.
We grease our bread with butter while it is hot.
