Watalappan

Ingredients:
Green cardamom 5-6
Water 1/2 cup
Jiggery 1 ½ cup
Milk 1 cup
Eggs 5
Cashew nuts as required

Directions:
1. In a pan heat green cardamom and roast until fragrant.
2. Add water, jaggery and cook until jaggery caramelizes.
3. Transfer it to a bowl and add milk. Mix it well. Add eggs and mix it again. Add cashew nuts in it.
4. Transfer this mixture to a baking pan and cover it with aluminum foil.
5. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 mins.
6. Take it out of the oven, remove it from the baking pan and sprinkle cashew nuts on it. Your Watalappan is ready.
Prep time: 10-15 mins
Cooking time: 40-45 mins
Servings: 3-4
