How to make delicious Meat Pies-2 ways. Crunchy and Flaky Easy Crust.

Here's what you'll need:
CRUST:
4 cups all purpose flour or plain flour (500g)
1 tsp (5g)
1 cup unsalted butter (227g)
1/2 cup ice cold water (125ml)
MEAT FILLING:
1 medium sized onions (chopped)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
400 grams ground beef
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 cup potato (diced)
1/2 cup carrots (diced)
1/2 cup peas
2 tbsp flour
1 and a half cup water

1. Mix together flour and salt. Add cold butter and cut into flour mixture using pastry cutter or scraper until resembles coarse meal.
2. Add cold water and mix until large clumps are formed.
3. Gather dough together, divide into two and wrap with cling wrap.
4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
5. Let's make the filling.
6. Saute onion and garlic, add ground beef and mix until brown.
7. Add seasonings and mix. Add carrots, potatoes and peas.
8. Keep on mixing then add 2 tbsp flour and add water.
9. Cover for 15-20 minutes or until sauce is reduced. Stir occassionally.
10. Set aside to cool down.
12. Divide chilled dough into 8 pieces.
13. Roll out each into 6 inches round shape.
14. Place the filling. Fold and press edges to seal as shown in the video.
15. Place in a ined baking sheet. Brush with eggwash. Poke a hole on each pie.
16. Bake in a preheated oven at 180C/350F for 25 to 30 minutes.
17. And so with the rectangular shape pies.
18. Serve and enjoy!
