Hey guys! Today's new recipe is Thumbprint Cookies. I'm aware that I haven't posted a new video since last month and it is the Christmas season as well. I haven't been baking too much this Christmas so haven't been able to post either. That's not the excuse though - I have plenty of videos from a while ago which are filmed but not edited yet, soo they'll keep me busy these holidays!

FULL RECIPE is following below:

Thumbprint Cookies :
- 225g unsalted butter, softened to room temp
- 65g icing/powdered/confectionars sugar
- 2 tsp almond extract (good quality)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 240g plain all purpose flour

For garnish:

- cherry jam as filling

+ icing sugar, lemon juice, lemon extract for the glaze or melted white chocolate!

Method:

Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy with an electric mixer. If the butter is soft enough you could even use a spatula or spoon. Add Almond and Vanilla extracts and lastly the flour and salt gradually. Make small balls with teaspoon, even if possible. Then roll in caster sugar. Make small indent with your thumb and bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 10 to 13 minutes. Decorate as desired, inspired from the ideas shown in video. Hope you enjoy!
