Recipe and Ingredients:
Let's start making the perfect breakfast bread with cheese.
200 milliliters warm water (1 cup).
200 milliliters warm milk (1 cup).
1 tablespoon sugar (15 grams).
I use a 200 milliliters cup.
1 tablespoon live yeast (15 grams).
Stir well so that the yeast dissolves.
Cover with a lid and let rest for 5 minutes.
90 milliliters olive oil (1 tea glass).
Separate yolk from egg white.
The yolk will come in handy a little later.
Add the egg white to the bowl and stir.
600 grams flour (4 2/3 cups).
Add 4/5 of the flour to the bowl.
Stir with a spoon.
Add remaining flour.
Knead the dough until it becomes smooth.
Put the dough on the table and work well with it.
I do this everyday since I learned this method.
The dough should be medium soft.
Grease a bowl with olive oil.
Put the dough in a bowl and cover it.
Leave the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes to let it rise.
Grate 150 grams of cheese.
Sprinkle the table with flour and work with the dough a little.
You should try this method.
Divide into 6 equal parts.
This bread recipe has never failed me.
Just water, milk and flour.
Roll up the balls.
In the process of working with the dough, let it be covered so that it does not dry out.
Roll out 1 ball 22 centimeters (9 inches) in diameter.
Lay the rolled out dough on baking paper.
Add 50 grams of grated cheese.
Roll out the 2nd ball of dough of the same diameter.
Put it on top of the first.
Press the edges with your fingers.
Flatten lightly with a rolling pin.
Make marks with an oven rack.
In this way, we will quickly make straight lines on the dough.
Transfer to a baking sheet.
Lightly cut the dough along the marks.
Cut the other side and get squares.
Add 2 teaspoons milk to the egg yolk and stir.
Be sure to try this delicious bread.
Brush the bread with egg yolk.
Sprinkle the bread with poppy seeds and place in the preheated oven.
Bake at 180 °C (360 °F) in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
