Ingredients

Basmati rice or regular rice : 1 cup
Water : 2 cups
Bunch of palak/spinach
Oil : 2 tablespoons
Ghee : 1 teaspoon
Cardamom : 1
2 inch size cinnamon stick
Star anise : 1
Cloves : 2
Bay leaf : 1
Green chili : 1
Large sliced onion : 1
Medium sliced tomato : 1
Ginger garlic paste : 1/2 tablespoon
Coriander powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Salt : 1 teaspoon or as per taste
Some mint and coriander leaves
Cashew nuts : 10 to 12
